WCB's Ron Mahr Retained As Exclusive Leasing Agent To Market
Newly Developed 15,000 SF Retail Center On Property

TUXEDO, NY – MAY 15, 2008– John G. Udell, president of Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. (WCB), is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President, Ron Mahr has recently completed a $1.8 million dollar sales transaction of the former Duck Cedar Inn banquet facility and restaurant in Tuxedo, NY. 

Working on behalf of the seller, Mr. Mahr was responsible for the sale of the 25,300 square foot commercial building located on 9 acres on Route 17, and was subsequently retained by the purchaser to market his plans to renovate a portion of the existing facility into a new 15,000 square foot retail center. 

The purchaser, James Lantini, a local businessman from Haverstraw, plans to move his electronics business into the facility’s rear 10,000 square feet, while developing the front 15,000 square feet into a retail center.  The new retail center will offer units from 750 – 7,200 square feet.  Construction is anticipated to be completed in September 2008.
