MORRIS PLAINS, NJ – JUNE 21, 2007–John G. Udell, president of Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. (WCB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mario Chiarella to manager of WCB’s Central Jersey office.

Udell, president.  “Mario has been a valuable asset to our company since he joined in 2005, and we are confident that his experience and proven track record within the brokerage community will be a benefit to him and our sales team in this new leadership role.”

In his new position, Mr. Chiarella will oversee the office, industrial, land, retail and investment division’s of WCB’s Central Jersey Office, and will be responsible for the management and operation of these divisions.  Chiarella will also be instrumental in the office’s relocation to its new office at 123 Lincoln Highway in Edison, NJ.  WCB’s Central Jersey office is currently located in Iselin, NJ and is anticipated to move to Edison later this summer.

Chiarella has worked out of WCB’s Central Jersey office as Vice President since 2005, where he specializes in tenant and landlord representation of office, flex and industrial space as well as investment sales, leasing and lease analysis.  Mr. Chiarella has co-represented such landlords as The Torsiello Organization, The Donato Group and CJS Investments, Inc. He has also represented tenants such as MMA Architects, Protech Solutions, BioVid Corp., Princeton E-Com, Supremia International and Greenlight Financial Services. Chiarella also worked on a sales team representing the landlord, The Gordon Group, in the lease of 70,000 sf of office space in Cranbury, NJ.
